The former Julie McGraw (since early this [2001] year) taking a turn at the anchor’s desk at Newschannel8, the local cable news channel. Molette Pendleton must have had the morning off. (Molette got married later in the year.) Parker is usually given a stand-up somewhere: in front of the Loew’s Cineplex Uptown theater along Connecticut Avenue to chat about movies, at an Irish bar in Northwest, live from the Metro kiss and ride lot at the King Street Station in Alexandria. How come I don’t see her on the Blue Line? My only sighting was of Matt Brock.
