I was born in 1960 a citizen of the United States of America (newly under a fifty-star flag Flag of the United States (1960-). ) in another country (which no longer exists Flag of Yugoslavia (1946-1992). ). I was a bureaucrat for 32 years. This site and others are written and maintained on a Mac Pro (2019) purchased new in 2020 running macOS Sequoia (upgraded December 2024). I drive a 2006 Ford Escape XLS which I bought new in 2005 and a 2013 Ford Focus ST which I bought new in 2012. I’ve been on Flickr since 2005, on Facebook since 2007, on Twitter since 2009, on Instagram since 2013, on Patreon since 2015, on Tumblr since 2016, on Discord since 2020, on GitHub since 2023, and at Bluesky since 2023. My first purchase was a Minolta SRT-202 body with the faster MC Rokkor-X 50mm f1.4(16) lens and some Kodak Tri-X ASA 400 film at the Annandale Kmart in February of 1978. Others followed: an Olympus XA in 1984, five Canon Super 8 movie cameras in 1989-1991, four Minolta MAXXUM bodies and many autofocus lenses in 1989-2000, two Minolta DiMAGE models in 2002-2003, the digital KonicaMinolta 7D in 2006, a couple of FujiFilm FinePix models in 2007, and the full-frame SLR from Sony in 2008.
